Description:
The Attic Bistro is a restaurant/bar located on the upper level of the Salish Lodge. The environment of the Attic Bistro is by far the main "selling point" of this quaint little hideaway. There are several cozy and secluded seating areas for guests to relax and unwind in. The larger seating area with two high back chairs and a couple couches is located in the center of the restaurant. There are also two smaller, more private seating areas tucked away in the corners for intimate gatherings of two.

But the atmosphere of the Attic Bistro goes far beyond the comfort of cushions. The walls are decorated with beautiful pictures of the falls, candles lit for ambiance, and stacks of wood sitting next to the fireplace as if ready for the cold winter months. The hardwood floors and earthy colors are the perfect frame as you look out the windows at a unique and stunning view of the Snoqualmie Falls. All these things give the Attic Bistro a real cottage-like feel. Even the ceilings in the Bistro are architecturally pleasing to the eye being that they do not come together in any right angles.

As far as your taste buds are concerned, an appetizer or dessert and glass of wine seem to be a popular choice in this place. The Attic Bistro’s list of wines (some local), spirits, cocktails and beers offers something for everyone. The Crème Brule had to be my favorite thing about the bistro, because it was almost too pretty to eat… "almost." If your hunger calls for more than picking at appetizers, the Attic Bistro does offer a handful of soups & salads, sandwiches and entrées.

The Attic Bistro proved to be a very pleasant experience for my husband and I. It may not have had as many entrée choices as we would have hoped for, but there were so many other things that created a positive experience for both of us. The window views are amazing, the service is superb, and the surroundings are so warm and inviting. Definitely a destination for an evening of relaxation, cheers and romance.
