Your mission - should you choose to accept it -- is to find a nice restaurant with an urban feel situated in a beautiful suburban town that has great food and friendly staff. Well, fortunately this mission is not impossible. Just head over to Mike’s Cascade Grill (hereafter referred to as "Mike’s").

Mike’s opened in May 2005 and is nestled away in the budding town center area of Snoqualmie Ridge. The atmosphere is suited to various functions, including singles wanting a drink, couples dating, and family meals. Sit next to the fireplace, enjoy the view through one of the large windows, or sit outside when weather permits. Dining alone? Pull up a seat at the bar and enjoy the game in high definition. Although it can get a little noisy due to the high ceilings, you never have to shout to be heard and can enjoy a pleasant conversation.

Mike’s offers a wide variety of dining options, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner -- from kid-friendly choices to a superb New York steak. When asked about their meals, my fellow diners responded with words and phrases such as "great", "excellent" and "perfectly cooked." Of course, the dining experience at Mike’s is never complete without dessert! Homemade options abound -- all of which were exquisitely presented. At our table we sampled three of the dessert choices and no one went home disappointed. Service at Mike’s was also admirable - from the warm greeting we received at the door from owner Mike himself, to the prompt waiter who memorized all of our orders to perfection and kept our glasses full.

The quality of the food, pleasant service, reasonable prices, and variety of seating and dining options are all great reasons to visit Mike’s. Next time you are in the Snoqualmie area and are on a mission to find a great restaurant, look no further than Mike’s Cascade Grill.

Directions

Take exit 25 and turn left at the traffic light at the end of the off-ramp.

Continue on Snoqualmie Parkway thru 3 more traffic lights, passing the Snoqualmie Ridge Home Finding Center on your left.

Turn left onto Center Blvd at the stoplight.

Mike's is on your left after 1 block.

Living in North Bend, we often visit Mike's Cascade Grill. We enjoy the atmosphere and menu, particularly in the evening. The service is generally good,except for the times we have been in for breakfast. This past Sunday 2/19, was the worst. Service then was extremely slow and indifferent. The server did not bring the complete order until the table was finished eating, and did noy bring the check until after several reminders. In the future, we will skip breakfast at Cascade Grill and stick with evenings.
